High intensity training and loud music isn’t for everyone. Luckily, the Yoga and Pilates programmes at Studio X are set within the peaceful surroundings of the Yoga and Pilates Studio.
Members currently enjoy four different Yoga styles, all taught by some of London’s most experienced Yoga practitioners and vary in intensity and difficulty.
With Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Hatha Yoga all on offer at Studio X, Yogis of all abilities will find a class suitable for them. Regular Yoga practice can unite the mind and body, de-stress the mind, increase flexibility, strength, posture and clear the body of harmful toxins. It may also lead you to talk about Chakras and hum Ommmmmm!
Pilates focuses on improving flexibility, core strength and posture and is derived from a mixture of Yoga, Martial Arts and Western exercise methods.
Kundalini Yoga consists of simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter his or her age or physical ability. It is a complete science that includes breath, yoga postures, mantra and meditation. It balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands lung capacity and purifies the blood. With a regular practice you will soon notice a significant improvement of your general health, physically and emotionally. Kundalini Yoga is a potent and effective system of self-transformation and personal development, makes you radiant, peaceful and strong so that you can meet life’s challenges with strength and compassion’.
Hatha Flow Yoga
Feeling stressed? Hatha Yoga is a classical, gentle form of Yoga based on spiritual practices dating back to ancient India. The practice is designed to bring greater balance between body and mind by using postures and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation.
